Voice chat

Does anyone know how to get the voice chat working? Me and my friend have been trying but nothing seems to work.

It's bugged and doesn't work. A bunch of us use Steam voice chat to make up for the shortcomings of B.NET.

It doesn't seem to be working for a lot of people. I have been in contact with Blizzard Technical Support EU, but we haven't been able to get to the bottom of it. From the looks of it, this isn't a problem that can be fixed by user intervention and it will have to be patched by them.

That said, there are some other problems with voice chat and it may be one of those, that is causing your issues, instead of the main one, that most of us are having. You could contact Tech Support and ask them about it. They usually answer pretty quick.

I've gotten it to work, but it's just terrible. We always default to something like Vent or Skype 'cause the call quality is just far superior.

Voice chat wasn't working for me at all until just 2 days ago. I haven't tried it since so I can't confirm if its presently working. My opinion is that Blizz has been turning it on and off in order to preserve bandwidth until they can get more servers or whatnot.
