The dialogue was a little cheesy and the voice acting could have been better but overall the game has left me thoroughly satisfied and waiting for the next installment

    Nice video :P

But I can't agree on that it was a bad game, all I can think of is when the HotS comes out. If it was a fail I wouldn't want to buy the expansion already would I?
(Also there are a few big flaws in the custom game's list, but I expect them to fix them ASoonAP)

The one and only problem I have with campaign is that we have to wait EVEN LONGER for it to get to the point that I was hoping would be in the first.

I was expecting a full campaign similar to SC1 just from a Terran perspective instead all I got was an longer introductory Terran campaign. When it's all said and done though, this won't really even matter.

True, it feels like an incomplete campaign instead of the expansions to be just that, expansions.

Yeah, but we will never be at that point. I don't know what you expect. Blizzard made the game like this because-look at how easy the story goes along. It's actually pretty linear and the scripting is all pretty basic. Why? So it goes will in all languages and all ages. The game was all about money. Were going to get 2 bad expansions. They made SC2 so it could sell in every country to everyone. There not going to make some awesome game with the perfect story. It's not going to happen. They just want to make a "product" that will sell. It obvious that every part of the game suffers, but they don't care. They are riding on their reputation instead of actually making perfect games. You're never going to see this miracle campaign. I mean damn, SC2's story was like... ugh! How can it be worse then Star craft vanilla's when it is 10 years old?

EVERYTHING THAT HAPPEN IN SC2 WAS POSTING ON SC:LEGACY! Like omg! If the people on here can guess what's going to happen then that's pretty pathetic. I was stunned to see the thoughts that people had on SC:Legacy turned out to be true. *face palms* I don't hate Starcraft 2, but damn blizzard just didn't care.

I did hate some of the dialogue due to its simplistic nature. I mean in this campaign, Raynor plays the role of Harry Potter, i.e. he has to constantly ask everyone around him to explain things in the simplest possible fashion.

ex. Matt Horner - "Whoa, that star just increased by 500% in energy output."
Raynor - "Slow down Matt. What does that mean?"

First of all, "Slow down" is not an appropriate response to a one sentece statement. Secondly, ask what it means in a slightly more professional manner instead of sounding like a complete idiot; OR write the dialogue so that Raynor then explains what that means to Tychus, someone who is supposed to be less intelligent.

I am now reminded why I used to have Warsaw blocked. I really need to quit giving people second chances so early.

I keep hearing people say the voice acting was poor, but realistically I haven't seen anything but sheer opinion? Of course of course, we all have our opinions. I just can't fathom it. What were we expecting from the voice acting exactly? Do people not like how their voices SOUND (pitch, tone)? Delivery? Choice of voice actor? About the only issue I had was the cheesy factor, even at that, not much of an issue at all. Simple dialog? I mean, you guys HAVE PLAYED the originals, right? =) It's no worse than Star Wars or similar space sci fi fare. Honestly, the voices sound great, and I don't think anyone delivered poorly. Raynor and Tychus stand out for me. Token hardcore black dude for General Warfield, that worked just fine too, he was cool.

What's with the rage against Kerrigan's voice anyways? Seriously...spooky devil mutant monster chick. Not hard to do. Sounds slightly different than in BW, but honestly, there is so much psionic/mutant distortion whatever stuff that it's basically the same stuff. How can that even be an issue?

This is what is funny to me: When SOME (read: few) fanboys are crying foul over voice acting, and most legit reputable gaming sites/mags are saying it's great, especially for an RTS (better than the original by leaps), I kind of lol.

Not saying the game was perfect, because no game is. However, is was certainly 'more perfect' than the original. In my, erm, honest 'opinion', ahem.

Honestly, a few years down the line here, 99% of us will be going "lol SC1 whut???"

I have played the originals and the voice acting overall is superior to the sequel.

"I can't bear to see anymore"

    Ughgh, still makes me cringe

It's an issue because one, her deliveries are for the most part, flat and monotone. The bigger issue is that they are OUT OF CHARACTER. None of the diabolical charisma and wit that BW Kerrigan was. She just a wild animal that needs to be caged/controlled in this game

So, just because a majority of 'legit reputable gaming sites/mags' think something is great means we should just go with the flow? How many movies can you think of that a lot of people like/love that you think "have they watched the same movie i have?!"
