The Dark Voice and the Voice in the Darkness

So what do you guys think about them? Are they the same thing or are they different? Seems kinda weird that they would release a comic about the Voice in the Darkness just a few months before they reveal the big bad Dark Voice in SCII. Discuss.

In my opinnion it would be redundant to have these 2 as seperate, considering how they are almost identical in theme and share a similar goal.

That's what I was thinking, but they have different descriptions. Dark Voice is more like a physical bipedal being (based on the picture) and the Voice in the Darkness is more of a tentacled monster.

The picture of the Dark Voice could also be just a host body for the Voice in the Darkness

Additionally, the tentacle being could very well be another host of the Voice.

What if they are parts of a larger thing? Dark Voice looks like a Protoss and Voice in the Darkness looks like a Zerg...What if they are like the hybrids. There is a hybrid that has more Protoss features and another that has more Zerg features, and that way the hybrids would reflect the "far greater power" that Duran is working for...What if they, are also hybrids, and are seeking to create the next them rather than the next Xel'Naga?

All we know of the Voice is that it can control a body, and is completely evil and hates the Xel'Naga.

Remember the Voice was defeated by the Xel'Naga when they found him doing...w/e evil thing he was doing and beat him up.

I'm pretty sure it's one in the same cuz - you want to beat those who beat you so you break the cycle, you skew the entire new generation of the xel'naga force create a species similar to them in capability and then destroy the beings that are meant to BE the new xel'naga.

Yes, i think they're the same. If some previous lore conflicts with that idea, Blizzard will just ignore it, as they ignored that the Tal'Darim where a few guys in a cave in Aiur.

Though I may concur and have come to the same conclusion, I still hope there's more to it than meets the eye, so to speak.
