Favourite New Character

Tosh was a favourite. Tychus too when he had his humours "now shutup" moments.

Stetman was also a good character. Horner too.

I can't pick.

But Warfield almost takes the spotlight because he is a badass General who stabbed a Zergling with the bayonet. And he face punched a Hydralisk to death.

I liked Horace Warfield and Nova...Tychus was also good, especially with all the funny moments (lol, the Tosh one was just priceless).

I killed Tosh :P

Voice in the Darkness seems like a much better and maniacal villain - he's planned out to stop the one beings that can stop him from being born. He gets +9000 rep for planning that.

He didn't get to do much, but I really enjoyed Valerian. Sort of a Xanatos-y, pragmatic, magnificent but not quite so much of a bastard.

I really liked Warfield and Tychus too, though. WarField was a really nice look at a competent, less weasel-like general for the Dominion. And Tychus was just freaking awesome. The voice, the look, the dialogue. Amazing. :P

If I had to pick one, I'd say Tosh. It saddens me we don't get to see him on Char, regardless of whether or not you sided with him at the end of his storyline. Why did Blizzard go with alternate endings for him and Hanson?...

I would like to give special mention to Warfield however. I wasn't expecting to like him. I was wrong. What a badass.

Matt - He's that cool-under-pressure, calculated and professional military dude who also happens to be a very friendly guy. (Cutscenes like Escape from Mar Sara, Who we choose to be and NewsFlash are perfect examples)

Tosh gets an honorable mention - There's always something cool about mysterious telepaths who have that "I can sense something wrong" vibe.

I also have a soft spot for Nova since her backstory was the first SC novel I read. But since she didn't get much screentime, I wouldn't call her a favorite in this game.

Tosh. Just... just Tosh.

Mostly for his enigmatic allure and breadth of knowledge, but also for the unexpected loyalty he shows Raynor when helped at New Folsom. The Mystery Man only gets you so far, but when you can reinforce that with some strength of character, then you're all set in my book.

Warfield came across as the most real character in the game. Plus, while he was a giant cliche, he was surprisingly well-written and delivered his lines great.
