Truth be told I would rather not have seen tassadar come back either. It always pisses me off when an awesome character sacrifices themselves to save everyone from impending doom... and then they bring him back in the sequel... like J/K guys, his sacrifice really didn't mean jack squat because he's actually still alive. I dunno it just feels so lame

But we've always known or at least suspected that Tassadar might be coming back just because he used both void and khala energies which sent him to another plane of existence right?

He did the same Adun did and i doubt Adun is dead.

Yep, Protoss voice actors definitely took a hit. =/
Even Artanis, who some people like, lacks the booming young voice he had in SC1.

Well he's not as young anymore. But yeah.
Of course not many people can compare to the awesomeness of PAUL EIDING!
Who I think must have always played the Overmind.
Also what was with all the Protoss calling Jim "Friend Raynor"? That just made them sound so primitive and stupid. Can't they just speak NORMALLY? Rather than having all this flowery dialogue?
One of my favourite moments is when Zeratul yells "Not that you'll live to see it!" Because it's just a NORMAL line. Even if it's strange that Zeratul is shouting.

Wow. That line is by far one of my favorite Zeratul moments in the game (if not THE moment). No way that's a coincidence. You're onto something with this flowery vs. normal speak thing.
It's like all of a sudden Blizz realized that they didn't make the Protoss speak in traditional fantasy language enough in SC1 and decided to revert that 'mistake.'
Uh, newsflash, we liked them that way.
