I think it's a part of his character though like calm in all situations while all the marines are like FALL BACK he's like Delay that order STAND YOUR GROUND!

Why would an army general be emotional? =S

I don't mean emotional like crying I mean that he reacts to the situation in hand, emotions like anger etc.

Its that he has a monotone voice, when theres firing marines all around him he should at least shout a little not say it in a serious talking voice

He says it like stand you ground! instead of STAND YOUR GROUND (actions described in writing may vary from reality.)

I feel no desperation or anything
And sure that maybe is how he is to be, but if that is so then I ain't happy with that decisions

I would imagine that's just how he is - cool, calm and collected. An army officer has to be really, if the guy started to lose his temper or panic, or in any way look worried or compromised, it wouldn't be very encouraging for the troops.
    SC2 handle - "DrakeyC, code 929"

I ARE A PROPHET! I've predicted three major aspects of SC2 correct, more or less.

June 2007 - I predicted the Protoss campaign would give you new tech as you conducted diplomacy among tribes.

    Hidden Content:
July 18th 2010 - I predicted Raynor would broadcast information of Mengsk's actions on Tarsonis to discredit him and incite rebellion.

    Hidden Content:
June 16th 2010 I predicted the Voice in the Darkness was the commanding force behind the Hybrids. I'm calling it half-right.

It was kind of annoying, honestly; that and the hybrid in the second protoss mission referencing Kael'thas. Hubris about your own in-jokes is pretty tasteless.

Only piece of decent dialog in the entire game. Yeah it was funny.

And again you had to be pretty big noob about PC not to know about the change, I mean even the birds on the trees knew about it.

I say the general was in the same spot as duke
And damn hell I prefer duke recognizing the situation at hand

That was the best part of the game, seriously.

I think it's a part of his character though like calm in all situations while all the marines are like FALL BACK he's like Delay that order STAND YOUR GROUND!
Just a small correction, he says "belay" not delay.

Well, I don't know if that was actually a joke about Kael'thas (He didn't say "[location] was merely a set-back.") or if that was just all of us being super-nerds who see connections where there are none.
