Terrible campaign

I think you are being too harsh, seriously it was awesome.
It was not perfect but what is? Sc1 was not perfect either, I had alot of fun with it.
The missions were creative and the story is building up nicely.

Ye I feel very hard discussing this because at some point (Don't want to say in the end) I have to agree and say yes it was good, very good some scenes shook me out of my seats but thats it: Some scenes

But I just feel like it could have been so much better.

Regardless of the story

it was the presentation that was lacking greatly

I never got time to care about the characters


Starcraft 2 is three campaigns yes but in sc1's first campaign I got attached to characters like duke and mengsk (and of course raynor)

But in starcraft 2 they either left/died or didn't get enough screen time
Wish I had gotten to know swann more, tosh more, matt more, the scientist more, the doctor more etc.

Starcraft 1

There aren't many strategy games out there shooting for a serious campaign
(like red alert/cnc series)
Or they don't have such a campaign (total war games etc)

Starcraft 2 just didn't cut the cake

So you're basicly saying that every single rts game created and it's campaign after sc1 was terrible?

And i don't realy find sc1 campaign that good, the story is good while the misions are super boring and repetitive, sc2 campaign is far superior in that remark.

I'll agree here. More mission variety is definitely a plus, but when the story and voice acting sucks and you're bored, who cares?

Well.... I loved it!!! I only wanted it for the story and i did every thing i wanted it to do... Apart from it crashing it was good but that might be my computer. To be honest the one thing i didnt like about it was that there wasnt anoth missions. I WANT MORE!!!! Bring on Heart of the Swarm!!!

I meant sc2 WOL is far superior to sc1 in mission variety and gameplay.

In Sc1 i sometime got so bored i used cheats because of the mission repetiton.
I could not even dream about doing it here. And the campaign is good so far..You expected too much i guess.

I think "terrible" is the wrong word. Its not a terrible campaign. It has redeeming qualities.

Its just not... heh... "stellar."
