For now. There's no knowing what will happen over the course of the story. If there's one defining feature about Starcraft, it's that alliances shift. I mean, who'd have thought Kerrigan, Mengsk, Raynor and Fenix would have worked together during Brood War? Also, Raynor started off working for Mengsk and look at their relationship now.

Point is: Things change. Expect to see that in SC2.

They're not really friends.

But they have mutual allies, so they'd probably work something out if they came into conflict. I'd love to see a situation, though, where they couldn't manage that.

As for Kerrigan, I think things are pretty set in stone. I got a very
definitive call from the new audio director when they made the decision
not to use me, saying they wanted something different. I can't imagine
them changing their minds now unless there's a shakeup in Blizzard's
corporate world. I have to say I'm surprised (and pleased) that Robert
has been brought back--the fans should be delighted to hear that! If
nothing else, all the articles and comments have been flattering, and I
thank you for forwarding the links. It's been an honor to serve as your
Queen of Blades...

Well that sucks. If the new queen of blades is that chick from the zerg reveal trailer.. ugh.. I might commit suicide. Is that what the new voice actress is? or was that zerg trailer just some random stand in?

No news on who the new VA is from her. I don't recall if any info's come out about it.

Actually, a Blizzard interview a while back (don't remember when, but it was the one with the cinematics department) said that wasn't even Kerrigan narrating it, but one of the Queens.
