Clotworthy back to voice Jim?

His voice really isnt hard to do, especially since its half special effects. I could do zeratul, and believe me I have no vocal talent what so ever. If they mess him up (and btw, his voice in the sneak peak of cinematic opening wont cut it), Ill be both surprised and discusted.

While probably too big a name, wouldn't it be really cool if they could get Christopher Lee to do Zeratul's voice? I think it matches pretty well.

Interestingly enough, it seems that blizzard's actual announcement from last monday will be ready sometime next month (as he alludes to the press coming back in july). Should be interesting to see what kind of timeline everything's on with the delay the BNet 2.0 has put on everything.

I don't think we'll see anything about a beta until BNet 2.0 is ready for some stress testing .

Who exactly voiced Mengsk anyway? And for that matter, did he, along with Clotworthy, have other parts in the game, as Kerrigan or Jack Ritschel did?

It could be James Harper actually...

I remember figuring out that he voiced... somebody. But I can't remember who. Hehe...

But I doubt Mengsk voiced anybody else. Maybe the Firebat or something.

I like his voice in the intro cinematic... it's grown on me.

Certainly better than the first one they tried to give us.

Actually, the weirdest thing to me there was that Zeratul was monologuing. He barely talks to other people, why would he suddenly be talking to himself...?

I thought he was narrating, but thats unimportant to me.

What bothers me about his voice is:

- the sound effect is off. It just sounds like theyre using a stock echoe effect. Zeratuls voice had a different kind of reverb, with altering pitched echoes and effects.

- His voice in SC2 sounds so tense and intimidating, the original zeratul, to me, was calm and wise.

- the acting is just not that great IMO.

You bet. I'm certainly hoping that we can get those 3 all back together. Hearing all the flashback cinematics with the original Voice Actors would be too perfect.

Or Tassadar's and Aldaris'. They will appear in a flashback cinematic at some point, much like the one at Blizzcon.

Wouldn't be sure of that at all. Especially Tassadar. (Well, actually they may include him in a cameo-esque role, but probably not a flashback.)

The most likely dead person to appear in a flashback is Raszagal, I think, though. And I don't know if Artanis will even be in the game until the expansions... that's mostly why there's no fighting for him, he hasn't even appeared yet.

While Raynor, Zeratul and Kerrigan all have.

These three are also the more likely to have direct roles in a story that closely follows Raynor. I don't doubt that the Protoss will have a part, but these three tie into the Terran's story.

I think Artanis is very likely to appear in the Terran campaign. People will want to know what's happened to the Protoss on Shakuras and also so newcomers aren't taken by surprised when this faction shows up in the Protoss campaign.

Also, who else would Raynor fight against for Terran vs Protoss? Mere random/faceless cultists?
