It was super easy I just scrapped all the bunkers (fully upgraded and filled with marines) and built a line so far in at the ramps as possible Just a straight line with siege tanks behind

on top of that one disruptor covering each area

The nydus worms died before they did unleash anything and the overlords died to my turrets

I didn't even bother with the nydus worms and I only took out a couple with my bc's before they went down

Just don't forget upgrading everything, that has a big impact

    LOL, that's what i did.

Wow so much wisdom in one thread!
Thanks guys for all the ideas I'm going through the campaign again to see if I missed anything, BTW the mission with Selendis and Ariel, what is the better choice? at first I chose to save the colonists and Ariel just kissed jim and got with her colonists, I know what happens if I choose the other way around because I saw a movie that came with my CE, but are there any other stuff happening? when is the most right time to do this mission? right before I get to char? does Ariel provide any insight about the artifacts as long as I get them while she is still around?

I passed it without additional bunkers, just used the perdition turrets, and a buch of siege tanks at the chokes, then had a mobile M&M army, but as the game progresses, it mutated into an all-battlecruiser-banshee army. I had science vessels that repair all tech for free patolling a circle around my base, and a few with my mobile force. Oh! i also had a few psi disrupters at the chokes. They help a lot.

First time i played it, i had to restart it, because taking down the nydus works ASAP is key, and the objective is to protect the artifact, so it's static base defenses + mobile force.

Anyone decided to let air units in the last mission? How does it differ?

I heard it is much harder.

Excellent guide for this mission on SC2Armory. You'll probably be good to go after reading it.

The video on TL posted on page 3 in this thread had the perfect solution.
Just finished it on hard with 2 nova (damn one too many) and on brutal with 3 nova!

    - Slow towers
    - Mass siege tank hugging the cliff
    - Mobile infantry (MMMedics) finishing off Kerrigan

Slow towers seem to be a must... perhaps controlling mass ultralisk do a good job as well. haven't tried it...

Make sure you get the technology of zerg slow tower, increase fire rate/damage, increased gas extraction, reactor+techlabs and all the weapon upgrades at least

I just got all the achievements on this mission after taking out the nydus worms. IMO, this mission is way easier without nydus worms than without air. Build a pack of Vikings to patrol the two chokes to kill Brood Lords, use the Hive Mind Emulator to steal Ultralisks and mass tanks/bunkers for defense. A stack of about six cruisers on top of the artifact mops up everything else and assists with kerrigan. I didn't even use the nova thing once.

With the "All In" mission pretty much covered, have any of you completed "In Utter Darkness" on Brutal? If so, how, and did you protect the library?

I don't know if its appreciated changing the threads subject... but ofc mass voidray/carrier + mothership and the rest cannons and pylons to stall a bit will get the job easily done...

before you can do air, just make a blob of stalks/immo/colossi

create like 20 extra probes and tech up to 3-3-3
