did anyone beat this mission yet?
I'm having trouble keeping a stable defense for long...
and Kerrigan always comes after a few minutes and destroys all of my siege tanks! when I take her down and she retreats I don't have enough time to avoid the nydus worms!(I chose to get rid of their air support..)

    Any strategy or help?

Bunkers, Siege Tanks and SCVs at the chokes.
Missile Turrets around your base. Banshees to take out the Nydus Worms. Battlecruisers to Yamato Kerrigan.

You will loose bunkers, so be sure to build them up again. Also, the slowing Psi tower is great at the chokes.

Easy on Normal, a pain in the ass at Hard and Brutal.

I lost this mission myself, the first time I tried it. The way I did it, was by having three separate forces:
1). A mobile Banshee force (at least 8 at all times) to chase down the Nydus worms outside my base. As soon as the worms broke ground, the Banshees immediately cloaked and I shift-attacked all of them, ignoring anything else on the way.

2). A small MMM ball (Marine-Marauder-Medic) for chasing Nydus worms inside the base and to serve as a second, mobile, line of defence.

3). A bunch of siege tanks, spread out, behind supply depot walls, with that special building that slows the Zerg down alongside.

I'd say the most important points are to start building the depot wall immediately, to construct units continuously until you hit 200/200 and, most important of all, to not lose all the Banshees in a single battle. This can easily happen, if they are caught in the middle of that special ability, Kerrigan uses, that does area damage. Banshees tend to cluster up, so they are very vulnerable. If you do lose, you will have to go out with the MMM ball to hunt the Nydus worms down and that can be difficult. Leaving those worms standing for a prolonged period of time will result in you getting overrun, so that is not an option.

Oh and use the MULEs judiciously! You won't need to scan anything.

    Hope this has helped!

Thanks for Tips! I forgot all about SCVs heheh always trying to build more but never tried put 2-3 around my stuff...one of the most annoying stuff happening when I played this mission for the 1st time was that I was assured that I won't need air defenses because of last mission but Boy was I wrong! somewhere after a few minutes a wave of overlords came to my base and started spwaning infested terrans on my SCVs! that was so annoying!

All I did was bunkers and tanks
and then some BCs to take out the nydus that are out of tank fire n such
it was pretty easy for the most part
but sucked when kerrigan came around and then you had to rebuild like an entire bunker
    sooo lame
    haha

Beat it on first try, Hard, destroyed Nydus last game (shouldn't make too much of a difference in strategy though). Relevant tech: Science Vessels, Psi Disruptor, Tech Reactor.

Three Bunkers at each side, 2 Siege Tanks, 2 SCVs set to repair. One Disruptor per side. In center (and moving around to defend as necessary), ~8 Thors and ~10 Battlecruisers with a few Science Vessels for on the move healing. Jackson's Revenge (merc BC) came in very handy. As soon as Kerrigan begins nearing one of the Bunkers, queue up every Yamato you have and she goes down quick, never kills more than a Bunker.

I chose to disable nydus tunnels...then all i did was fortify the 2 chokes and build up a pretty big fleet of cruisers full on yamato at kerrigan...and for my ground forces i relied mostly on mercs

    Use Thors to stun Kerrigan.

This is a hard mission. The only one in the game that's given me trouble. ><

Yeah same here. I had a HUGE fleet, maxed out food on mercenaries and battlecruisers and ground troops.

Kerrigan waltzed along, used her Zerg AoE damage spell, and raped more than half my army. I was like WTF just happened.
