1st impressions (without me spoiling myself by reading this thread)

The status quo in the sector apparently ignores the events of the Brood Wars, while they apparently happend the brief description of the previous events from the Installer is "Tassadar blew himself up, Raynor became a Rebell and Kerrigan the Queen of the Zerg."
I wonder if they retconn the UED much.
I started Kampaign on normal and failed the 2nd achivement for each of the first 3 missions right away by one count each! Well Iīll propably play them again anyway but itīs kinda funny.

Beat the first 5 missions, played but can't beat the next 2 on brutal when I am totally exhausted lol, (zombie and lava) missions are lots of fun , i agree first 2 sucked

The cinematic and stuff are great, just wish they got more in depth, hopefully later

I don't mind how simple the first couple of missions were. It's not too dissimilar from the first SC. Maybe that's good, maybe not.

What I do know is this: I want Stetmann dead. Most annoying voice ever. And I've heard his voice actor before, and I hate him.

I'm living in NY at the moment. The classic Rochester accent can be characterized as being somewhat Missourian, somewhat nasally. But there are people from a wide variety of places who have moved here.

And I can tell you, without a doubt, that if I met one who even sounded remotely like Stetmann, I would punch them in the face.

So far, I haven't had to.

Oh yes, and this game is totally firefly.....Development started on the game around Firefly too..so that might hv something to do with it..or it's just Firefly's popularity.

    His balls need to drop!

I expected a twenty-something year old IT kid, not... not an actual kid! Y'know, a representative for the developers of the game, someone who has no social skill whatsoever but keeps his head in his computer. But Stetmann is incompetent-sounding!

Well I've got half-way through on brutal and man it is tough. A couple of missions I've done on the first try but the rest I've had to make multiple attempts at, probably more than I'd care to admit. You really need to optimise your strategy for each level and pick the perfect unit composition to get each job done, but I like it hard. The story is starting to get into the juicy bits

Being on SEA is really sucking on the custom map aspect. No doubt the NA server already has all the maps you've known from beta up and more, while on SEA the number one map by far is mine and I think there are 3 other custom maps published. Very sad. I've offered to host maps on SEA for other authors but we're still stuck with a very trivial 10mb/20mb limit.

After being in beta and waiting so long for retail, I still don't think it's really sunk in that SC2 has really been released.
I really need to change this...

I'm so hyped up right now it is not fair. Still got 5 more hours to go until digital release can play!
