Instore pickup intsead of shipping. how?

Hey guys, I pre-ordered SC2 from gamestop's website, and selected ship 2 my house. I would much rather go to the store and pick it up tonight at midnight. Instead of waiting 3-4days. tho i already got the beta key.
Is there a way to switch it?

any help would be appriciated.

No, i do not see an option. It says that it is unshipped as of yet.

Er, call your closest Gamestop store and talk to a manager or something. Not sure, just sending out flying suggestions ^_^;;;

I asked if that was possible, they said I'd have to cancel the pre-order online and then reserve it at the Gamestop locally.

However, I called them and asked to have overnight shipping upgraded, and they did it for free! BUT, I had another friend try doing that one day later and they said it was too late since everything was already en route.

At this point, I think you're out of luck, since they have already shipped. You could always go and buy a copy and sell the other on ebay. =) There's sure to be some store sell out quickly and some poor schmuck willing to pay more than what you bought it for there.

I think he said that it is unshipped. So, he can still have his pre-order upgraded to overnight like yours. Give it a shot!!

Well, I called last Thursday, my friend tried calling on Friday and got the "no-go" message. I'm assuming that this means at whatever point they're in the handling phase, its become too difficult to upgrade orders to overnight. Give it a go though, it could just be a regional thing for me, although I DO know that UPS is sitting on my damn copy right now in a warehouse. They're not even shipping it until late tonight. FML! I hope it arrives early tomorrow morning, because late in the afternoon would be soooo cruel.

You cant change your order anyway. I tried to do this weeks ago and they told me they'd have to cancel my order to change it to instore pickup and they couldnt because I used my beta key.

Thanks for all your help guys! I did figure it out.
You have to call the gamestop costomer service line, and get them 2 canel your pre-order, then you just go to the local gamestop, and pre-order it for in-store pickup.
I cant wait till midnight, yay!
I hope this info is in time 2 help someone else.
