Are the races balanced?

Certainly the game cannot be inbalanced if they let you choose your race. If all pro gamers are playing 1 race there is probably an issue, otherwise I don't see what the fuss is about.

Right now, i think that the Marauder with their cheap upgrades ( Stim and Concussive ) are OP against Protoss early game. Also the Ghost ( specifically the EMP ) is a bit imbalanced, since it pretty much rips through any protoss unit composition.

Everything else seems fine though

Clearly terrans are op because they can liftoff their command center after losing and wtfpwn everything.
