I dunno about this systemrequirements site... my processor is rated at 7.2GHz? I have 2.1GB of video ram?

I mean, sure... it works in that it probably can tell if you can run it or not but is it really the best available o.O

Graphics wise your fine, probably can run with Ultra shaders.
Sick. Thanks for the help, I feel very comfortable with playing Starcraft II.

Just for reference when I get the game: What general or specific settings would someone want to turn down in order to improve performance on Starcraft II?

As I said before, turning down shaders increases performance ALOT and I mean ALOT.

Altough it will look alot more cartony and warcraft 3 like. But hey, I liked how the crystals looked better on low settings

It probably got that number because it's a quad core, but I can tell you by looking at the parts themselves (and AMD quad core w/ a GF 8800) that you'll have no problem.

When you go into graphics options, it'll tell you what stuff stresses out either the CPU or graphics card. I would start out on the default "High" settings, and if it runs smooth play around from there. Shaders and terrain foilage have the biggest effect on graphics card (and are uber important in making the game look good) and stuff like physics, effects, and reflections effect the cpu.

I don't have the recommended OS (only on XP), but will that really make much of a difference? I'm not exactly tech-savvy.

On what level of graphics do you think I'll be able to run it?
    I've got:
-Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz processor
    -3.2 GB RAM
    - NVIDIA 9400 GT 1024 MB
I'm running it with windows 7 btw

What??? How dare that website tell me I barely pass the minimum requirements. I have an Asus g51 and I can run Crysis on max setting with NO problem. Stupid sys. requirements lab.

That site doesn't work for me. It simply refuses to download the software. And I know it's not a security problem.

I don't know but PC specs but I know they aren't good enough for SC2. So as-is I'll be getting the game but won't be able to play it for a little bit.
    SC2 handle - "DrakeyC, code 929"

I ARE A PROPHET! I've predicted three major aspects of SC2 correct, more or less.

June 2007 - I predicted the Protoss campaign would give you new tech as you conducted diplomacy among tribes.

    Hidden Content:
July 18th 2010 - I predicted Raynor would broadcast information of Mengsk's actions on Tarsonis to discredit him and incite rebellion.

June 16th 2010 I predicted the Voice in the Darkness was the commanding force behind the Hybrids. I'm calling it half-right.
