I was throwing you a bone and saying that 2xAA and 4xAA was noticable in 1920x1200. 16xAA is just ridiculous.
It's a waste of money for StarCraft 2 alone. End of discussion.
Sure, they should benchmark them but only for the hell of it. The person I was responding to was searching for benchmarks to see how well it ran. That's what was unnecessary.
Rest In Peace, Old Friend.

It's impossible to see the difference of 16xAA at 1920x1200 unless you have a 40+ in monitor (No, not a TV). It's simple science. It's already almost impossible to see 2xAA or 4xAA at that resolution. If I took screenshots with various AA at that resolution, I guarantee you you wouldn't notice the difference.
Dare you take me up on my challenge?
Rest In Peace, Old Friend.

Sure, I wish to take you up on your challenge. I want to see the difference between all of the AA settings up to 16xAA on several screens that go up to 40".

What's a good $600 rig. got them monitors already.
Gonna use it for:
1. SC2, and other games.
2. Horizontal stuff and in-game cinematic stuff. recording, etc.
3. Music/Audio stuff like FL studio and loading vstis and samples like philharmonic, EWQL Stuff. I think these things eat ram in the millions.

I am not going to fail, but you make sure that we can see the AA settings in the pictures.

it is possible, Crysis, BFBC2, Resident Evil 5 are those examples, but you need to look closely otherwise it won't work
on the other hand Dawn of War II is the best example you can get, the diffrence between AA modes is very noticeable, the quality is diffrent and easy to catch
