@mikill: you picked a good example but the compression is also way too high, if the aliasing wasn't that hrash it would vanish. 98% quality jpegs at least, or better png. Use abload.de that what GAF uses for HQ uncompressed stuff.

What picture type do you suggest I just picked JPG because I was using FRAPS.

8xAA and no AA makes them jagged clearly distinguishable. Look at the rail thingy.

However, they're not as obvious, and personally I'm cool with the difference. Not paying twice for that. But this might make a huge difference when rendering stuff like max animations, etc.

I have zero knowledge regarding that though.

The arguement was if you could tell the difference between the pictures in any game and I have proved my point Tychus is acting weird. His arguement is that you can't tell the difference. But I did see a difference. I agree with you but Tychus has a one track mind. See words below.

It's impossible to see the difference of 16xAA at 1920x1200 unless you have a 40+ in monitor (No, not a TV). It's simple science. It's already almost impossible to see 2xAA or 4xAA at that resolution. If I took screenshots with various AA at that resolution, I guarantee you you wouldn't notice the difference.

Tychus, I was reading those posts and I am like wtf, you took it like a life worth contest or somethin', there is a diffrence that you can see with no AA and x16AA and the diffrence is really easy to notice

But, let's say for a second you were right. Is the cost of 600+$ worth the additional 12xAA? Really? Think about it. Plus, that card is pushing out FPS that your CPU cannot live up to. You would need a 4+ Ghz i5 to keep up with that at max resolutions. You made a bad decision for StarCraft 2 and pretty much for gaming period. That's unmistakable. I could see splurging for a 5870 if I'm really into gaming at that moment but a 5970 is retarded. Plus, I can tell you're playing at 1680x1050 which means you don't have a great monitor which means you aren't even able to see the max resolutions or what your graphics card can do.

I am obsessed with you? Do you not see your actions in this topic? You have acted like a child obsessed with me and proving me wrong with this AA. No you have not proven your point because clearly those images are different and where taken during different cycles of the game. Mine may not be perfect but I am working to correct my mistakes to prove you wrong in the fact that my images are too compressed, just like yours. And with the size I am sorry but my new monitor is a new one but it wasn't expensive and if you want to argue I will go and borrow a 1920x1200 capable monitor.

PNG takes up half of bmp (but taking a screenshot take a bit longer), both are lossless and will be a precise representation of what's on your screen.
For lossless uploads, never use bmp, always convert to PNGs with the best compression (I use IrfanView).
