Well really. Why would they tell websites...? They don't need to. But if they wanted a lot of information about the game out on the same day they announce a beta date... well... that'd be the way to go about it.

You're correct in that they probably wouldn't tell the websites anything, but why would the website be spoiling beta information? That's right, they wouldn't!

Whatever blizzard gathered the press for isn't the beta. I still go with BNet 2.0. I'd much rather see a beta tomorrow, but we can't all have our dreams come true!

BR3 was quite obviously an outdated build.

Indeed, BR3 did not even have the updated Spawning Pool, Queen, Egg, Spine Crawler, Infestor, Hatchery/Lair/Hive models... it will be completely different.
