Yeah I just went back to watching Battlereports and even doing side by side comparisons of "similar" battlereports from HDStarcraft just to see the changes.

They are pretty huge. The biggest change is probably the smoothness of the game vastly improved. Units move a lot more fluid.

The game also feels a lot more tactical in the beta and looks far better (I compared scrap metal to BR3 on a zerg vs protoss match, the difference is astounding)

Psystarcraft has awesome videos of patch changes but when the real game comes out that ain't gonna matter, or they ain't gonna be as often but it is a great channel

While I miss me some Dustin, the commentary we get from the likes of Husky and HDStarCraft is much better so I don't miss it too much. I am, however, strangely nostalgic about those times of information drought and insane speculation

Meh. Husky and HD do a way better job commentating and keep me entertained during my lunch hours at work.

Those information droughts killed me back then. I remember people had to wait several months between each battle report and each one was pretty short. Now HD and Husky are able to put out longer videos on an almost daily basis. It would still be cool if maybe once in a while after release Dustin would do a battle report or something.

Day9 is actually a very good commentator. I enjoy the commentaries of Husky, HD, and from SCL: Crota, SaharaDrac and Siraz. But, Day9 gives you a much more in-depth view while they're playing what the players are thinking (2 steps ahead of the action), not just what is happening. Sean Plott is a great commentator in my book, alongside his brother tasteless at GOMTv.

I agree. He has a different way of commentating but I like it. Very informative, and he actually got me understanding most of the game's mechanics and strats, even though I wasn't in the beta.
