I got a call from Gamestop today. At 10 P.M. a launch party begins, and anyone who has preordered can somehow claim a copy before launch, so they have minimum wait time when the clock dings, and the Geek New Year begins. I have no idea how you can claim a copy, but it sounds most excellent.

I'm picking mine up tomorrow afternoon, though so its kind of a moot point for me.

She was head of shoulders above any other recording I've heard in terms of enthusiasm. I almost dropped my phone when she starting yelling at me for being such a nerd. I actually thought it was a nice change of base from the traditional I-hate-my-job recording voice.

Well, the only place in town that will sell it at midnight is a 24/7 Wal-Mart (since the only local Gamestop is in a mall), but I also have the option of driving about 20-30 minutes to like 5 Gamestops that'll be open at midnight. Which one would you do?

No complaining about distractions . I have huge final exams tomorrow and the next day. I eve had to do two week's worth of homework ahead of time so that I could free up tomorrow for StarCraft 2.
