Gamestop midnight openings

I live in a rather highly populated area just outside of Washington, DC. When I look at that GameStop map, I could drive in any direction for about ten minutes and hit about a dozen different midnight launch options.

Nice. There's a midnight release gamestop and 24/7 walmart across the street from one another and around the corner from my house. Come hell or high water I'm getting this game at midnight. Gonna pre-order my copy on the way home from work today.

Thank goodness the store I got it at doesn't open until tuesday 10:00 AM. I'll be there just in time to get the game, hehe. =)

I preordered long before I saw this list. The store I got a confirmed CE from opens at 10 AM. There are other nearby Gamestops that open at midnight, however.

There are three gamestop in my town doing midnight releases. I'll be at one. How many hours ahead of time I should show up to get a good spot in line is the issue.

Also, do you know if it matters which gamestop you preorder at? I preordered a CE at one, but may want to go to the release at another (the one a buddy of mine is going too).

I literally had a gagging reflex when I read that, (no idea why.) Anyway neither of them. yuck, slow food man.

I wouldn't worry too much about the wait if you don't live in a very populated area. You'll probably put up with 40-50 people at the most. Plus you'll have plenty to talk about. I'm personally gonna show up at 11:30 where I'm going.

As far as picking up your copy at another gamestop, I think you need to go to the one you pre-ordered at because the store itself is imprinted on the pre-order (although you could call the store if you were that desperate to see if you could get the game with your buddies).
