You would only have a point if the medicine was the cause of the my insomnia which it was not. The only other alternative would be for me to stay up for days and days at a time which is obviously not the solution. Let me try to put this as softly as I can: there's nothing you can tell me about medicine as I've spent much of my life researching it.

You should also look into S.M. Stirling's Ember-verse series of novels. Very cool stuff. Wikipedia has a great article on them. Wish HBO would do a TV show about this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Emberverse_series

Speaking of book series, I highly recommend Jim Butcher's epic series The Dresden Files. A bit of high fantasy mixed with modern day detective, and wonderfully sarcastic.

As to what I'm doing, playing WoW (It's a drug...) and re-reading Scott Pilgrim now that I've got the final volume, as well as anticipation for the movie. Will probably also try to go see Inception, have heard nothing but good news about it.
