I'm sure its an attempt to get them to play the campaign and get into it so people will actually buy the game there. Most games don't get payed for there. They buy play time through accounts since they have a national fad with internet gaming cafes.

I've read somewhere before that Koreans don't bother with SC1's campaign. Maybe it's because there was no translation back then.
