SC2 Midnight Launch Party in Brisbane, Australia?

Is anyone here attending the SC2 Midnight Launch Party in Brisbane, Australia?

I will be there doing my Firebat impersonations and dominating the trivia contest to win cool stuff

Well my closest major city launch is in Sydney, 1.5 hours away. No way I want to wait that long on the drive home :P It's pretty cool that one of the developers will actually be there. I wonder if he was already going to be in the area or they shipped him over here for the event? :P Not that Australia is a bad place, but Brisbane? In winter? Seriously?

I'd like to see what happens in Media-Markt, where our party will be held.
I and my friends go into that building(which has this Media-Markt) quite frequently, by the way.

And I also what this global event to make it to the news reports.

I just checked Brisbane's weather.... 19C...
....That's summer weather in Canada...LOL (Today was Cloudy and 15Celcius..)
Cali is like anywhere from 20-40C...20C sounds like night time in December.
Why do you guys get like a lot of rain? Then it's cold/freezing I assume?...
But if it's still 20Celcius...it's no worse than what I am experiencing right now...that can't be that bad.


Consider yourselves lucky, we don't get jackshit in Canada....and which brings me to question...theres not a single US event?

I'd say the rain is due to Australia being a small continent surrounded by water :P

Brisbane/Gold Coast is known for it's beaches and summer fun, but apart from that it's not one of the more exciting cities on the east coast. However I just remembered that Activision's HQ is in Brisbane so that would probably explain the appearance.
