Default How to host a map from file.

Is it possible? Trying to make a game for me and my friend that isn't on any of the lists. Is it possible?

The only way I can think of is to publish that map yourself.

Should be in the "my published" category when you create a game. If you're talking about someone else's map, no idea. It shouldn't be possible.

People jut need to learn to publish their maps instead. These "mapping" sites that host maps are pretty useless for actually playing a game. They should always be published through battle.net.

The map I had picked out was 100MB. The limit, IIRC, is 21MB. What are we going to do when there's huge campaigns?

Open it in the editor and hit test map. We don't have access to the singleplayer portion of the game so there may be a way to open local maps in retail.

They are useless for playing a game unless it can be played single-player. But that's not why they exist or their main appeal. They're primarily a learning tool for other mappers and a showcase
I really need to change this...
