Looks like it's coming back up. You can try and log in but it kicks you back to log in screen at the character select.

They don't tell you in advance which days maintenance will be, you just go to log in and usually there is a little box that says it's down. With WoW it's about 2 times a month.

Well, that's much more reasonable. How much time does the maintenance take? Anyways, i bet/hope that WoW maintenance doesn't needs to take down BN2 completely.

Theres been problems with getting out of placement matches like if you played yr 2 then go to -1 also there has been problems with getting achievements like my friend played to 1 ffa against all insanes and won nut he didnt get it. So my guess its fixing that problem

WoW has maint. every Tuesday - it keeps the servers in tip top shape. I would understand if they do that for B.Net 2 as well nowadays servers need to be taken care of meticulously -.-

if B.Net isn't up you can still play the campaign, itll just say play offline.

Singleplayer also uses b.net for saves - your progress is saved to a b.net server so you can go play on another comp you just have to log in and it'll pull the data.
