Just tried to log on this morning and it says I can't connect to Battle.net, either because its offline or I have no internet connection. Obviously its not option B. Anyone having similar issues?

Probably down for maintenance, it is tuesday after all. The WoW servers usually go down on tuesdays for maintenance.

Tuesday is maintenance day...I couldn't get on at 8:30 this morning GMT-4.
Might be a patch coming too.

So that means that while SC1 could be played with no problems 24/7, SC2 is going to have downtime all tuesdays? This gets better and better. How much time is it?

I don't think very often...not every Tuesday. And I think they will try to keep things running as much as possible even then unless they have to issue a patch.

They don't tell you in advance which days maintenance will be, you just go to log in and usually there is a little box that says it's down. With WoW it's about 2 times a month.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
