Dunno, I think they look as good as a hybrid could look.

Well, as long as they don't show any signs of weaknesses (like how an infested Terran walks). They should look powerful with every step. IMO a Hybrid shouldn't look as streamlined as would a natural merging of the 2 species so currently I'm satisfied with it.

i think they look silly. actually i reckon hybrids shouldn't appear in the game at all, definitely not as units anyway. i mean why should a perfect being also necessarily be a super powerful killing machine?

The way I see it, Hybrids are the bastard children of the Xelnaga, they have the genetic code, but never grew up with their parents, so they are more like raving beasts.

Also they have not naturally amalgamated and so they do not fully appears as the Xelnaga do, nor do they have the full Xelnaga potential.

Other then these few images we have now we actually don't know what the final Hybrid units will look. We just know that they are sick perversions of their parent races, and I do say races because they are technically created from 3 species...

No, they aren't. They are two races combined. Zerg and Protoss. There is no other race in their DNA.

<Sarcasm> Oh, sorry I forgot, the Xelnaga didn't genetically engineer either the Zerg or the Protoss. My bad. </Sarcasm>

They may not have direct Xelnaga genetics in them, but they have been genetically programed that should their DNA combine in the correct fashion that a Xelnaga would be the result. I see this as having 3 parent races, two genetic one's and one who over saw the genetic combination by selecting the correct genotypes, or by inputting them from their own genetic code.

So here's a question, who's the "father" in the combination...
