Possibly, but i find it hard to believe that the possibility of a new overmind is not going to be part of the story, my theory is that kerrigan will end up becoming good somehow (maybe the XN 'heal' her and have her lead/guide the growth of the new generation) and that the Zerg willl have a truly evil and effed up leader. I could be wrong.
