So I tried to log on and it said CLIENT VERSION NOT RECOGNIZED BY BATTLE.NET.

While this is not a good thing, this is different than the "BATTLE.NET IS NOT AVAILABLE" malarkey I've been getting since the beta ended. Perhaps this is a sign of the 2nd coming (of the beta)?

My guess is that it will be up before the 10th, but hopefully sooner than later.
I'm like a lot of people who posted here in that I'm really more excited for the full release, but a nice jog of the memory with a beta phase 2 will be great too. ^^

It could be back at noon for Pacific time zone. I recall Blizzard said they would say more when phase 2 was nearer. So far they have said nothing, and phase 2 is near. Typical Blizzard. I wouldn't be surprised if there was no phase 2, and it was just to keep our hopes up like Starcraft: Ghost. But I degrees, phase 2 has to go online next week max, or else the promise of phase 2 being 2 weeks long will never come true.
