Won't there be a new client? Or was it just something about old replays not being compatible anymore, so I assumed there was a new client?

I dunno if there is gonna be a completely new client or if there are just gonna release a patch to do so. On a related few topics, there is still no word on the SC2 battle.net forums on possible release of phase two even though I had to dig through 7 pages of nothing but spam posts to get to where it was 4 hours ago. Spam it may be, but that is an impressive feat of a hardcore troll. Another side note, it may be just me, but the sc2 BETA forums have not been working since the new "client" message has been posted in our games a few days ago. Every other forum on the site works, just not the one specifically for the beta and it was up until this message started appearing for everyone. Could be a coincidence but I am not so sure about that.
I realize that I change my signature often. All I can say to that is: SO??? HAI FIVE!! (*・∀・)/♡\(・∀・*)
If you like anyone's post, be sure to give them additional rep.

Didn't a blue post say that they would post the date as soon as they had one?

But isn't that how the first wave of the beta started? If I remember correctly, I was watching a live stream of the beta hours before Blizzard made an official announcement that it had started.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if the beta becomes available again prior to a Blizzard announcement.

This thing with "BNet does not recognize your client GET LOST" thingy means only that Starcraft client could have been reworked dramatically.

Or that they changed the version number that Battle.Net expects to receive from clients. This thing with "BNet does not recognize your client GET LOST" thingy means only that Starcraft client could have been reworked dramatically.

Most probably, they're going to wipe all the previous patches. That's why the replays won't be available anymore. With any luck, they could had changed the way the older versions load, so that it's useable. With the time it currently takes to load an old replay, it was useless. Also, it's taking a lot of space already.
