Thread: Starcraft II versions in México

Default Starcraft II versions in México

So... as the date comes near. I'm really wondering about that México plan of practically pay 29dlls (300something pesos) to "rent" the game for 6 months.

I don't really understand if this version will be the only one in the stores or what. I ordered the collector's edition in blockbuster [which costs practically the double of the original price], but... I would like to know more details about this versions thing.

    anyone know anything? :3

I took the info from a Store that will sold all the versions of the game here in Chile (the LA version will be sold at... like US$29....13.990 pesos chilenos).

Contains the complete base game, including single-player campaign "Terran" and full multiplayer mode. In multiplayer mode you can play with any of the three races: Terran, Protoss and Zerg.
It requires you to register on Battle.net and have a permanent Internet connection to play, even in single player mode.
6 months License: This package allows you to play Starcraft II, both in single player and multiplayer mode, so unlimited for 6 months. After that period, you must purchase additional time via prepaid cards and / or the possibility to upgrade to full unrestricted license. The information on the price and availability of these cards has not yet been released by Blizzard, but will have values very convenient. Also there may be a form of upgrade to make the version without time limit, although this has not been confirmed.
This new method implemented by Blizzard seeks to offer the game at a price never seen before for a launch this level, allowing more people have access to the game.
Regional Restrictions: This version can only be played in multiplayer mode on servers destined for Latin America. The versions of other regions such as USA and Europe, will not allow in turn, connect to play on American servers.

@HydraHydra As Lumine explained, its really possible to get bot versions, the limited and the standar one, from the same shop. The 6 months version is a just a plus for us latinamericans, not a restriction

@Lumine Y cual es esa tienda compadre? Hasta ahora yo me he paseado por el arque arauco, providencia y el apumanque en santiago y no he visto nada relacionado al juego. Ojala me puedas ayudar, pretendo comprarlo apenas salga
Heheheeey, I need some strong coffee.

It reads as if you cannot even play the single player after 6 months, and it's still unknown if you're going to be able to upgrade to the full version or not, and what will be the price of the time extensions. I would wait to buy something like that.

Also, u$s 30 for the time-capped version? It's half the price, but you're paying it with the time subscription, and if you plan to get the expansions, we're talking at least of 2 time extensions (assuming you play 6 months only per expansion, so that's the best case).

Also, the region restriction reads as something permanent.

I have a bad feeling about this...

I was thinking about buying one through ebay, but if it's cheaper
