Before the full release I still think frenzy, corruption and 250mm needs reworking.
    Mothership needs tweaking.
I also think ravens need a bit of tweaking.
250mm, mothership and raven can all be tweaked once the game is released REALLY easily. What is wrong with frenzy and corruption? You say you dont like the abilities, but dont state why. In particular, you dont state why they should potentially delay the game for these 2 abilities.

That is because I don't want to derail this topic totally.
And it's because these are singletargeted spells which imo goes against zergs kind of play.
Frenzy is just an input ability to nerf 250mm cannons which has been overnerfed and a "buff" to ultralisk. But it's kind of obsolete since it only works vs 250mm cannons which is now rarely used.

And corruptors ability.... your not really going to use it on every air you can se will you ?

Should've been released a while ago then. Only the developer's perfection has held it back.

There are people here that need to watch Day9's daily shows to learn more about sc2 and its degree of depth. He really fleshes out a single strategy and in the same moment, he opens the possibilities of thinking outside of the norm in a very stable and viable way.

The way he explained strategies used by Dimaga, TLO, Nony, Artosis, diewilde (?) and others, has really opened up how you can use different strategies in various matchups in ways you yourself don't usually play.

Seriously, if you're looking for depth of gameplay, watch his dailies.

I recommend his video on Nony's build.

Last I checked frenzy increased damage as its primary role. And corruptors you should use it on any unit you deem necessary... you can use it on air or ground units. I mean... graviton beam was initially considered weak but corruption has a very similar effect. And corruption is amazing for taking out colossus in ZvP. Corrupt the few colossus that they have and they die that much more quickly (2 fewer hits from a corruptor). After that, you can corrupt their stalkers or whatever else they have.

im talking about frenzy and corruption ofcourse.

i voted no, and im amazexd at how many are voting yes.
Well, I think that the zerg issues will be addressed in Phase 2, they even eluded to that in the situation reports. I'll be honest, I'm surprised at how many yes's there are too. But remember, this isn't a check if SC2 is "done" but rather, is SC2 ready for Release... I think that little stipulation might have swayed much of the "yes" factor.

It is true and quite surprising how few players take advantage of Corruption. It is basically like acid spores from Devourers in BW, but this one works on both ground AND air units!

If used correctly, that spell is scary.

I just watched that! It is Daily # 108 (PvP) and #109 (PvT) for anyone who is wondering.

    Some quickfixes:
Either corrupt or frenzy made AoE cast.
Either of the abilitys made Autocast.
Corruption made passive like concussive shells.

You seem to have missed the point, it's not really the function in the spell that is the problem, it's the execution which needs to be fixed before release. It could also be the way that the execution can't be fixed and it needs a total replace.

Im personally alright with this game not being perfect right off the bat. I mean, it took our beloved Starcraft 1 6+ years to become into the great balance it is. I don't expect anything more, or anything less from sc2. Especially since the game is split up into 3 - so i don't expect full sc1 balance to happen until like 3-4years until after the final installment is released, which that would be about the same time it took sc1 to become so great in balance(3yrs total for releases + 3-4 for extra balance = 6-7 years).

I think most ppl are comparing sc2 to sc1 unjustly as if sc1 came out as it is now. SC1 now & at its release are like totally different games.

Im not one of those blind blizzard fans & i agree they(and sc2) have a fair share of flaws but as time goes on they are smart enough to fix the flaws that they can. SC2 going to be the biggest game released on the computer and they sure as hell dont wanna mess that up. They have their hiccups this game but they still have 2 more to perfect the process.

Besides, idk bout most of you but im in it for the story. The story makes the game. If sc1 didn't have the story it did, i probably would of dropped it because of its horrid balance near the start of its life. Anybody here still have those nightmares about the OP zerg & utterly too cheap spawning pool? XD

PS - We also still have a whole month of phase 2 beta testing which will bring about many more new changes. God, its been so long since I've posted here XD
