Time hasn't gone fast really. Is it just me or does the first few screenshots of the first post have better graphics than sc2 has now. Will that be the ultra graphic setting?

Time hasn't flown by for me. 3 1/4 years after announcement, rly? And their slogan was "HELL ITS ABOUT TIME". About time for more waiting is more like it.
Think about it, this game was announced before the Wii and PS3 were released, kind of a long time dont ya think? I was a freshman in HS when it was announced, now I'm graduating HS. Now I have a job and all that crap and this game comes out. So for me, this game is quite late.
Since beta though, yeah time has flown quite a bit. And this wait will be memorable.

I have said this in past threads...but many years from now...like 10 or so...we might all wish we were back here, before we had mined SCII for everything that it's worth. All this anticipation and waiting will be fond memories once we've finished off Legacy of the Void's campaign for the thirteenth time.
There are times were I wish I could go back to when SCI was new to me. Those were good times. Good times, indeed.
Not to mention the fact that I was younger.

I agree with the fact that all this anticipation will be fond memories, but I don't think we'll mine the game for all it's worth, I still have fun with SC1, having played the campaign several times and having fun all of them, along with the multiplayer, given that we will have a lot more to do with SC2 (take into account that we will have 3 games in total) unless Blizzard does a major screw up with the game me thinks we will enjoy it for quite a loong time![]()

I got very excited when I saw the trailer just like everyone else. I knew it wasn't "about time" though, and that we'd be waiting for a while. I just went on living life, playing all the great stuff that's come out in the past 3 years and then BOOM it was beta time before I knew it. If this was the only thing going on in my life I suppose it would have been an excruciating wait but it really did fly for me.
This past few weeks since betas closed however, excruciating.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.

I dare someone to make a montage of the last 12 years. With Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" as the music.
Because that's how shitty SC2 makes me feel.

The original protoss gameplay video of StarCraft II was the best SC2 video I've seen IMO. That thing really got me so excited for this game: "the p-p-power of the p-p-protoss".
Most of the other SC2 singleplayer vids seem mediocre in comparison (hunting for artifacts = lame). I think alot of it has to do with the fact that unit sounds were alot better back then (also, that Protoss commander and Admiral Gaskerville had some pretty badass voice effects). Sound in general has just went downhill as development of this game progressed.
