    Default Warpgate rally point question

Say you warp in 8 stalkers all at once with all your warpgates, is there a way to make them automatically rally up to where your army is without having to select all 8 stalkers as they are warping in then right clicking on your army to make them move there?

Not that I am aware of, no rally and no queue is the disadvantage for making them into warp gates.

    Yeah, TRD is spot on.

There are no rally points for warpgates. Units made out of WGs need to be manually moved to where your other units are. That's the trade-off for much lower cooldown and instant unit production.

You can give the Warp Gate the ability to put a rally point in the editor. I don't think it will work, but you can try.

Im pretty sure you can queue their waypoint on them like any normal units though.. After they warp in, you queue them to where your army is. For instance, when im doing a fast 4warp push, and I plant my pylon like abit near their choke.. after I push them up abit, everything I warp in i also queue to move to where my army is, and it happens once they are finished warping in.

I dunno the exact hotkeys to do it, cause its all by natural feel for me, but the same way that you like make your probe scout 5 different places in succession, that command. It works after units started warping in.

You mean selecting the units as they warp in to move to your army? As a unit is warping in, you can select the unit to rally/move to a location, and it goes there after it finishes... but you have to select them. Its really not that hard since you need to have your screen there anyway.

Shift + S -> click click click click -> select -> right click where you want them to go. Takes almost no time at all.

Yeah. There isn't any "formal" rally point, but the function is the same.

Warping in units can be given orders (move, attack), so that can be a defacto waypoint.

They can't be told to attack-move, but only attack a specific target (no ground).

    I believe you are mistaken.

All rally points are aquire-move. If you really a warp-in-progress Zealot deep into an enemy base, it will attack everything on it's way before reaching the destination.

    So:
They can't be told to move, but only attack-move to a piece of ground (or a specific target).
