How can you say that? You've watched me play before when I was in Silver League, but when I was in top Gold, I don't think you've ever seen me play. I have improved A LOT lol!

Anyways, I will take your advice at heart and try it when phase 2 starts. I am practicing on the BO tester map for now. I will try to incorporate 1 base and see how many phoenix I can manage to get before I expo. Thanks bro.

I have seen you play, you were pretty good, and I'm sure you've improved a lot. I don't mean to sound insulting, I really don't. But I know its possible to crush Zerg with a ton of Chargelots, Sentries, and Phoenix cause I did it all the time.

Block you chokes, abuse warp-in. Get a few cannons to prevent early Mutalisks and Banshees, and add more Phoenix if you see him going mass Muta. Simple.

Hmmm... Proxy pylon-ing is my fav thing to do as well ^_^. Getting a pylon hidden close to an expo and use 4-5 zeals to chop off drones could work as well and destabilize his muta harass forcing him to defend and find the pylon, or even deter ling runby's to an extent.

I should prolly try incorporating that into my strategy, but good advice.

Yeah! That's a great point too. I've never thought of using Phoenixes as a corsair before - which is prolly not so advisable, but THIS particular aspect of Pnx is very close to sair OL hunting. I shud try to harass zerg as much as I possibly can. Hmmm....

Phoenixes are very good against zerg and not just for Ovie hunting. After you hunt down some ovies, go kill a queen, or lift drones off gas. Remember, there are no scourge anymore. The only air unit that kills phoenixes easily are corrupters, mutas just do not work all that well. We have not spent all that much time actually playing the game, so new ideas on how to abuse units can still come along later on. If you watch day9 at all you can check out daily 108 and 109 to check out Nony who is VERY good at phoenixes and see how Nony uses them against Terran and Protoss effectively

I did watch those Silenc (lol) I was the one who posted the link to his dailies somewhere else suggesting the same thing for Nony's opening Phoenix builds. The thing is he doesn't touch up on zerg which I thought needed more in depth analysis that PvP Phoenix. But, I like that he did it anyways, don't get me wrong

Demosquid's right when he said that you don't have to fast expand to keep up with Zerg. If a Zerg decides to fast expand, smashing their defence (even with spines crawlers) is very achievable off a single base.

It's the so-called 4-gate all-in, although as a Zerg player, I really don't feel that the attack is as 'all-in' as its name would indicate! A variation of this particular timing attack would be the 3-gate robo. Or it could be a 4-gate robo, I can't remember exactly .

I've lost to this my share of times, and it just packs such a punch that it can still kill fast-expanding Zerg even if they're aware that it's coming. Naturally, it's just off one base, but Immortals devour Spine Crawlers alive.

Zerglings only do 5 damage and Immortals have 1 armour, so even though the Immortals don't get a hardened shield bonus vs Zerglings, you'll find that Zerglings still take quite a while to bring down an Immortal, and your Immortals can really rip apart Spine Crawlers in the meantime.

I hate being an exclusive Terran player and facing opponents in 1v1 who go random.
Throws off my game a lot..


Personally, I always reaper proxy rush if it's a terran. Sometimes on Protoss if I feel like it. Then on Zerg, I just quick tech to Hellions by premaking a reactor.

I hate mutalisks. They are just the most annoying things ever..then watching my slow ass thor try to walk there is a pleasure as always.
