Thread: Who will emerge victorious after the Terran campaign?

I think Raynor is ill-suited for such a position. I can definitely see him inspiring people through his actions - and even more through sacrifice and martyrdom - but, despite his leadership capabilities, he just doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to command armadas, much less nations.
    Aaand sold.

That's a touch too optimistic for Blizzard's standards. Plus, everyone knows that Raynor is the universe's chew toy.

Not necessarily lead a nation but have a sizable military instead of the few people he has in the raiders.

    I voted Terran.

    Specifically the Raynor's Raiders.
Seeing as how the last mission is called "Invasion of Korhal"
Either Raynor's Raiders win, or the Zerg Swarm wins.

I'm throwing my chips in with Raynor.

Invasion of Korhal? We know the mission names? Where?

I somehow doubt Raynor's aim in that mission is the destruction of the Dominion. I mean, "Invasion"? That seems a bit strong. I'm thinking either the Zerg or a mysterious alien race from beyond the hinterlands of conception... *cough* Hybrids much? *cough*

Raynor's beef is with Mengsk alone. He isn't interested in acquiring power and honestly couldn't give a rat's ass about the Dominion.

I believe that it will not increase much strength for the terrans since they are only really raiding and not conducting like large-scale offenses, i believe that protoss will be weakened since they are in a bad position and are lossing more and more units and valuable objects and finally zerg will probably experience little to no change.

Which is precisely Raynor's problem; he's not likely to be thinking far ahead enough to consider what will happen with the power vacuum that will be created by removing Mengsk.

I agree with that point. Raynor at this point is basically just 'A dog chasing cars'.

But then again Mengsk is probably going down one way or another; even if Raynor isn't the one to do it, if only by reason of the fact that his character has more or less already been fully developed, and his story already been told. Even if he does survive WoL, I believe he'll cease to be relevant, and to a man with an ego like his, that's probably a fate worse than death.

The most powerful man in all of humanity not being relevant?
