Why the hell does Jim Raynor have hair in those art concepts? In the flashback CGI he is bald as per SC1. These are obviously images dating back to the events told in the narrative and he has his "new" look...

You do know the SC2 story spans a couple years right? People can cut their hair and grow it out within that timeline.

Have you read the books? If not, there's been some huge retcons that will probably be shown in the SP that'll leave you sayin' "WTF BLIZZARD!".

I have read the books. I still feel its a ridiculous retcon seeing as the LongHairLook was because of his post-war depression.

I'm not saying it's not ridiculous. I'm just saying that if you don't know of the retcons then you might want to prepare yourself for some WTF moments

They've already retconned the fact that the SC1 armour used to be different from the SC2 armour. Now the SC2 Armour AND Hydralisk have been there ever since SC1 it seems (judging by the flashbacks). Makes me disappointed that Blizzard would do this, not only does it make the universe LESS diverse. It also contradicts stories like Fear The Reaper where the DT guy explicitly remembers "old" Terrans (meaning Terrans from SC1 with their version of the CMC suit) when he was thinking about them.

And seriously, they retconned the firebat as well. Don't tell me they were so blind as to overlook the fact that the Firebat in SC1 was 660 and now the SC2 Firebat is also 660.

So I guess the Firebat was always this huge from the Start? Guess that throws out the idea of Firebat suits similar to the size of Marine suits from SC: Ghost

The firebat hasn't been retconned, as their armor is labelled as the "latest generation." As for CMC-300 and 400, it's not inconcivable that asthetic variants are in service in the same timeframe.

Unfortunatly, looking at the hydralisks and zealots from GW in the images, it definatly seems that a visual retcon has occurred. Which sucks IMO.

Huh, for some reason, when I watch the Recap episode of the Terrans (I downloaded it) I see it different than everyone else. For example, at the scene where the Carriers are glassing the planet, their lasers are purple... nothing is in "proper" colours".
