China's Army is pretty Impressive Looking

Disclaimer: I'm not comparing armies or anything, or skill, efficiency, or nothing of that sort. This is purely an opinion of mine about the visual appearance of the Chinese Army.

And personally, I think appearances are very important. But damn, does the Chinese army look so uniform and good.

Now, I don't know anything about the actual military, but I hear that to be in the Chinese Army you have to be a certain height. And judging from the images I don't think it's a lie. Of course, it seems like a silly requirement but I was always of the opinion that hell, China has more than enough people in its country to do just that.

But anyway, is anyone else impressed by the Uniformity of China's army?
Simply stunning IMO.

PS. I have no clue about what is up with that picture of the shirtless soldier looking back. Pretty creepy actually.

PPS. Can anyone elaborate on some of the things they're doing? I don't understand it. Such as the pins into the neck (is it to keep their head straight and chin up?). And the tying up of the limbs.

So THAT's how they get the parade so choreographed. I assumed most of the things shown in the pics are for rehearsing parading. The ropes get the soldiers to fall in step with each other, the pins keep there necks and chins straight, and I assume they put bees on them and stuff to assure them not to flinch.

While I do find that impressive, I dislike parading/marching/formations in general, including in the US military. It's so unnecessary and does nothing to keep your more competent or alive.

EDIT: Also after watch those pics. Those are incredibly disciplined soldiers no doubt which will keep you alive.

Also, I don't see how I was insulting you. My intentions for the topic were never meant to be about comparing armies. That just leads to people flaming each other. You just posted about Chine's army. Obiviously if you're going to post about how uniformed one army is you have to look at others to see how they match up. Then can you only tell how uniformed they really are, so obviously before even posting you compared China's army to everyone elses. So even by not posting about other peoples armies you are still comparing them, because you're talking about how uniformed they are.

And by saying there is no need to compare armies, you didn't say you agreed that America is the toughest army. I'm just talking about it because it has to do with the subject. So [REMOVED] what if I want to talk about America's army in this thread. It's all [REMOVED] relevant. I wasn't going to be a [REMOVED] dick about it, I was just opening up some conversation. What the [REMOVED] is so bad about comparing China's Army to America's Army? Maybe I was going to talk about how America doesn't go to these depths to make disciplined soldiers, but it is a good idea. A soldier from China this disciplined will always follow orders. That's a big thing making sure soldier's follow orders because they have to be ready to sacrifice them selves for the greater cause. Of course it's horrible, but it has to be done some times.
