You Gonna Be Good Or Evil?

I also intend to do both, but I usually start as good. I did that in ESIV: Oblivion and it was good, but the rewards differed very little. Based on the conversation here, it seems there may be better rewards from Blizz in WoL. We''l just have to wait and see.

GIven how many people are saying both, why not add the option to the poll and restart the vote so we might get a more accurate reading? If the OP decides to leave the poll as is, we should vote according to which we will do first. This is usually what you will wind up doing anyway.

I have a feeling there isn't going to be much of a difference in how things pan out depending on what you do. This isn't mass effect, but i'll be glad to be proven wrong.


I've never been one to play purposely evil or good, at least not on the first play-threw - i'll play it by ear and do what I would do in each situation. So probably a bit more evil than good haha

I'm inherently good down to the core, so first time out, Raynor is going to be good.

After that play through...I'll go back and make him bad.

Didn't vote... I want to try both paths, after all it's a game and I want to know everything that happened and even what would have happened if I took the evil path. I guess I will play the SC2 campaign twice... or maybe more times...
I almost never used battle net with SC1.
Without LAN... I wonder if I'll get used to it.
Either way, I always liked more the story of the campaign and map making than competitive playing.

I will probably do what I always do with game that make me make moral decisions.

First play through will be what I personally would do in whatever situation is given to me.

Second play through will be either purely good or purely evil depending on what happened in the "me" playthough (I will do the revese)

Third Playthrough will be the reverse of whatever the 2nd play through was, so if my first playthrough was mostly good (which is usual, although mass effect 2 was different ) then the 2nd playthough would be pure evil and the third would be pure good.

I usually pick "Let them fend for themselves" or "Survival of the Fittest" type responses. That somehow usually gives me evil or renegade alignment even though I don't see it that way. Anyways, I always chose whatever I would do IRL for the first few times until I want to go back through and do everything.

Still, I'd be willing to bet that this is more of a chose which branching path you would rather go down or who you will let die instead of good or evil. Imagine how a truly evil Raynor would effect the lore Darth Raynor anyone?

I don't think it ill be as morally driven as say Mass Effect or Fable, but it rarely matters anyway in the long run. I'm evil as can be in most moral games, but I'll probably be good this time around, mostly because I don't think Raynor would really be as bad as they will give you the option to be most of the time, and I don't want to play a different Raynor than we saw in Satacraft 1. The first thing he did was give up his gig as a Marshall, and the life he'd made on Mar Sara to go AWOL and save the colonists from the Zerg, against Confederate orders. Metzen wants him to be the last good man in the galaxy, and I don't want to change that too much, or I think I'd ruin the storytelling.
