I love realistic battles in space way more than the SW and ST take on it. B5 and BSG battles felt so much more real, especially with all of the attention they paid to the physics.

Starfire actually sounds pretty darn cool. I was born in '82 so I missed the boat on a lot of the early table top games. Got into 40,000k for a while, but it was just so darn expensive. Not to mention all the painting...ugh.

    Never played it

On the note of ASVS, while most Sci-Fi Debate sites that claimed to be unbiased are actually heavily biased *coughStarDestroyer.Netcough* ASVS isn't. Here's the allignment of who's in charge:

    Owner: Tyralak (Pro-Trek)
Administrators: Admiral Paul (Pro-Trek), Mirah (Pro-Halo)
Global Mods: Questor (Pro-Wars), RayCav (Pro-Wars)
Forum Mods: Ali-Sama (Pro-Trek), Enigma (Pro-Wars), ESAD (Troll)

I wish some Pro-Craft people were also in charge, but alas, they're just limited to members...

I never was able to get into star trek. It's too old school and cheesy. The new movie was ok though but nothing compared to Star wars. Then again, I'm not really a star wars fan boy either so I wouldn't defend the franchise against star trek lovers. I'll pass...

Already, myself and l33telboi have accounts there. (Even though we go by different names there - I'm Khas, and he's Styroks.)

Of course Star Trek - vs. - Star Wars isn't all that's discussed there. Other sci-fi, real science, and just everyday stuff also get talked about. Yes, StarCraft is one of those other sci-fi 'verses talked about there, though not too commonly.

However, we are looking for new members. And no, I'm not trying to spam this forum, and no, I'm not the owner, an admin, or even a moderator. I'm just a regular member inviting you all to join.

Now what does this have to do with StarCraft and why should I care?

Aside from sci-fi, nothing really. Which is why I put it in the Off-Topic Lounge.

Oh, and DemolitionSquid should like our newest Vs. Debate. It brings in Star Trek, Stargate, StarCraft, and Avatar-bashing

    Here it is.
