The SC2 beta logo shows up even if you create a new account right now and don't have any games registered. Basically, as many of you have deduced, it just doesn't mean anything regarding who's in and who isn't.

Right - most of the stuff for bnet KR is a bit diff - I wouldn't say this means a whole lot.
