A lot of the footage feels, the people in there feel a bit fake. The Human Sarah Kerrigan feels very dead to me (mostly how her eyes are animated and how they move feel very robotic)

So what do you think? Could Kerrigan's attack be what killed the hydralisk, or is it just a similar beam of energy around both, and if so, what caused it?

I doubt it. Not only do they look like completely different attacks, but Kerrigan and the Hydralisk are clearly placed in two different environments. (Nevermind the very idea of Kerrigan shooting her own hydra is odd to begin with.)

They're in totally different backgrounds Roland. The Kerrigan one looks like the Zeratul-duel background to me (somewhere she's more likely to use psychic powers). The Hydralisk has always looked like a rifle round of some sort to me.

Moreover, the hydralisk death has been around since the first cinematic trailer, while everything with Infested Kerrigan was released much later (particularly with that blue, cave-like background)

I agree that Kerrigan looks odd. Well, not odd; but she has the slightly stylized look of an animated character (as opposed to the realistic style you see in, e.g. Mass Effect cinematics). The eyes, in particular, make this obvious.

I think you're on crack . If you look at the hydralisk shot on the third picture, it has some weird talon like object exiting the hydralisk. Kerrigans orb attack is well...orb like and wouldn't go through so cleanly if you think about it. An energy ball would collide and create a large wound , not a clean cut entrance with an exit wound like that.

On a side note, I think Kerrigan looks like a boy with long redhair as a human...and one fugly green witch lady as infested....she's pretty ugly regardless...

Not a big fan of the voice over. They should've just gotten a generic movie voice over rather than arcturus minsk. It's too distracting to the visuals.
