Im glad this was posted, I don't have to write up a long post about how much I hate bnet 2.0!

I really loved the pictures you provided with the article, its something alot of write-ups are missing.

Though I think things will get fixed(I really do), its sad that we had to write this in the first place. I don't have much great feedback since I agree with everything that was said so I'll leave it at this.

Great article. Long but well worth it. Instead of just pointing out what's wrong with b.net 2 and bashing Blizzard for it, it shows how it can be fixed in a calm way.

Archer, I know you'll get back to my quotes later on, but in the mean time I'm going to throw out a question that might change discussion to a different direction.

To everyone, if you found out that the first two patches after release involved greater communication (Groups/chat) or Tournaments (The reason to strive for 1-8 in a division), which do you think you would rather see first? Since this isn't a poll, think of it more as a discussion than an question/answer. Hell, even go as far as to say what YOU would like and what you think the community would like, etc.

(For people curious, this information was eluded to back in April by Chris Sigaty, you can identify the quote in the chat channels portion of the editorial as it and related information span across a few quotes.)

Between better Communication and Tournament setup, Communication wins 100%.

Gifted I hate to break it to you but tournaments have been happening throughout beta. Actually funny thing Husky released a video about it and do you know what he said was vital for tournaments?

Despite our efforts to restrict inappropriate consumer content, from time to time objectionable and offensive consumer content may be posted to a World of Warcraft gaming site or the sites of other games or game services, such as Battle.net, with online chat features or game forums which allow consumers to post comments. you realize that if they release the game with such lack of features while they will claim that they will add them in the future half of them won't get implemented in the future at all
so it's now or probably never, we need to demand from them to do things we want not the other way
StarCraft 2 is a big project no doubt and it have been hyped from the start, so it's sales will not affect only Blizzard but the whole market and mostly in a bad way.
I don't think you get it. I'm not defending Blizzards omission of features. I'm defending specifically Bashioks previous post, because its a step in the right direction.

You yourself states that its going to take time for the features to go through, and thats understandable. The only issue here is a matter of trust, of trusting that they will be implemented.

    What? Why!?

How the HELL is a better tournament setup a higher priority than better overall communication between players across the board?
