Getting to play the game early and participate in its development, is, I think, compensation enough.

As much as I'd love a discount, we get to help make a Blizzard game, albeit in a very small capacity.

That surprised me too. There is a lot of beta testers here, so it's like asking "do you want a discount?". Well, of course i do!!

They benefited us by letting us into the beta; not the other way around. The only way we're valuable is in the thousands. They're already giving us a hell of a deal at 60$. No need to make it any cheaper. Besides, think of how many damn people were in the beta after the pre-order bonuses.

@Perfecttear: I was in beta but I voted Hell No. I don't like hand-outs and I don't feel like Blizzard owes me anything. In fact, I owe THEM for 12 years of SCBW and allowing me into the beta.

Yeah, maybe there is 100k person in this beta right now. Just cutting 10$ off these 100k person is one million dollar less income, this would be stupid....
