When the youth forsake their obligation to the Imperial Guard the Imperium takes notice! Turn aside from this cheap knock-off of reality, this....this....hackneyed, over stylized morass of a "game!" I myself fought against the tyranids before I was wounded and sent back to serve as a preist in the Imperial Cult and saw for myself what they looked like! They look nothing like the cheap knockoffs you see in this "game!" Repent from your heresies! Remain pure in the EYES OF THE EMPEROR! Do not force the hand of the Sector Politburo committee members to issue a WRIT OF EXTERMINATUS for our World! Return to your posts and report all heretics who speak of this "Starcraft II" as though it had an original idea in it to me at once!

Brothers! Here, take a seat and listen to an old, scarred ex-soldier! Please, for a just a moment! I may be only Priest now, but I still may be able to tell you something of use!

Long, LONG before this "Starcraft" bauble came about, I served as an attachment from our Homeworld here (The Emperor preserve her and watch over her always!) to an Imperial Guard Unit. The details matter not, sufficed to say, we were sent to a forgeworld far distant from here. It was......is.....I hope, still called Meridian. There I had the supreme honor of bearing witness to the EMPEROR'S ANGELS, the Blood Ravens, holding off a great host of the enemy, many times their number. The enemy they heroically staved off until we arrived to turn the tide were the Tyranids, foul xeno beasts who have no home or place of origin within our Galaxy, being utterly alien and foul. I was injured, as you can see, by one of these beasts and still bear the marks upon my body to this day!

What this warp spawned, "game" called "Starcraft II" is nothing but a pale, cheap twisting of history I have seen for myself! Brothers, there are no "Zerg!" They are but a Chaos twisted lie to bedevil your minds and sow confusion amoungst you! Turn from these heresies! I have seen these beasts for myself! They bear only a passing (and poorly contrived) resemblance to one of the real and true enemies of mankind: The TYRANIDS!

Now, as regards the LIES and fabrications about the Emperor's Angels *snort* let me tell you, they are NOT "Prison Soldiers!" They are Humanity's Champions! They are not forced to wear the holy armor of HIS righteous fury, they take it and the geneseed upon themselves by choice alone and commit themselves to an eternity of war on our behalf! Do you not understand that?! Far from being .....blasphemous..... chaos spawned thugs in power armor, they are the living embodiment of the Emperor's own Will made manifest through his very flesh! The geneseed within each one of them extends their blessed lives into eternity unless they are ended in faithful service in War (Forbid it almighty Emperor!)

And now, speaking of War and greivous accidents, let us come to the corruption of you, our youth, in these last days!
Brothers, I tell you truthfully, if you allow yourselves to become corrupted by the influences of Chaos and play this "game" I have no doubt the Sector Politburo central Committee members will request that a Inquisitorial Tribunal be sent here to render judgement upon our homeworld. There will be nowhere to run then. You will be forced in those LAST DAYS to make a horrible choice: to either choose the red and bloodied many pointed brand and serve the ruinous powers as chattle or put upon yourselves the brown shirt of the exterminator and be forced to slaughter your own kin through a veil of tears! Let it never come to this! (Forbid it almighty Emperor!)

The Great Unclean One known as bobby kotick seeks to destroy our faith, souls and to milk our money, while Slaneesh in the body of Frank Pearce seeks to question our faith in the God Emperor, as if it's not enough Khorn wants more terrible, terrible damage and is abducting our scouts for it. In StarCraft II's world, I can be a Terran Marine. Unfortunately, in Warhammer 40k, the best I can be (if not graced by genetics) is a lowly Imperial Guard fodder.

I will, however, submit the fact that StarCraft is a more refined version of WarHammer 40000. They took what was good, added what was good in other science fiction franchises, and then cut away all the fantasy crap. Goodbye Space Orks and their "Clap Your Hands and Believe" tech, goodbye Druids and Demons and Dark Gods.

It's better that way.

Haha, I wouldn't say being a Terran marine is a cause to sigh with relief. But at least if you're not a criminal you definitely have a better chance to be promoted. In the 40k world you have trillions of other Guardsmen to compete with.
