    But what if the race overall was balanced without having a resource-specific macro ability? It can be done, and I don't think people are going to run out of things to think about in this game. Increase racial diversity I say!

    If I really had it my way, resource macro would work exactly the same way it did in SC:BW. However, it seems that the devs and some fans are unhappy with that, so I'm willing to work something out. I'd still prefer that any resource macro mechanics would be the exact same for each race. I'm convinced that the effort needed to go into balancing racially unique mechanics would be pointless considering the likely low value of the end result. I also think that it would be better to use resources for them instead of energy.

    Give it an ability to give 50 of its energy to another unit, but make it charge its energy slowly (or not), and have it be able to waste 1 energy to heal 1 shield hitpoint. (120 energy for 120 shields)
