Also, IIRC don't they store ammo in the shoulder parts of the CMC suits as well? Not sure how they use that ammo though, maybe it's a feeding belt.

    Hidden compartment for clips?

*Delete it please. I can't handle the coolness of this joke properly.*

same shit, look at l33t's article on the C-14 gauss rifle. The calculated effects of the C-14 8MM Hyper Sonic Spikes are on par or better than .50CAL ammo.

OK but yes, so their ammo boxes are smaller. So what, do I see any ammo boxes in any of the art or etc?! NO.

Oh yeah and the deep space thing - well how do you explain this?

What is that I see? Trees and flora within a self-contained biosphere looking structure?! So much for space platforms having atmospheres. I win.

Are you blind Hyde, how can you not see the ammo box or the magazine on the c14 gun?
Judging by the guns size (which is huge) and the magazine size, the magazine could easily hold about 500 rounds ( don't forget that those rounds don't have any cartridges) so the actual 8 mm bullet or the spike in this case is only about one fouth the size, of comparable 8mm amonunition in our world.

By the way, play the mission Raid on the Dylarian Shipyards in Brood Wars. You'll notice that there are these queer little men in no space suits commandeering battle cruisers. I don't know, maybe they're not human. Same with those pesky Vulture hoverbike pilots. Maybe they're shielded by the rule of cool, because they're bikers in space and all.

Hating on an unrealistic design is fine. Doing so while straddling the "WarCraft ruined StarCraft" bandwagon -- when that is not at all appropriate -- is not.

This is the cinematic Marine suit design you're talking about. The shoulder distance is wider than it is in the new design. Absolutely no way a human being would actually be able to fit inside. There's yet to be a single design, Ghost's included, that even remotely resembles something anatomically plausible.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that the two rounds are of a similar size.

I mean the C-14 gauss rifle fires 8mm ammunition, .50 cal ammunition in the metric scale is 12.7mm. There's quite a big difference between the two.

Why are you acting so childish? You said that somehow C-14 ammo boxes are capable of holding rounds as big as .50 cal? Well I had informed you that 8 mm does not equal .50 cal, so it is in fact, not the same shit. Shut up if you don't even know what you're talking about.

What is that I see? Is that a WC3 modded editor? A modded CNC? Whatever it is, it isn't a canon SC editor, I didn't know that that should be taken as canon for what happens in actual SC. You know what else I see? In my imagination I'm recalling a clear quote from Gradius clearly indicating that SC1 space platforms had a terrain option called the Rusty pit, now exactly how does rust form without oxygen?

That is something I never would have thought of, I believe you have just been Lawyer'd.
