Yeah, Dead Space I think will translate exceptionally well into a feature film.
I didn't get to see the fully animated prequel, Downfall, but it looked really great from previews. And you are correct...the still-frame/audio web series was absolutely amazing. Especially since we had to wait three of four weeks for each new installment.

The original title of this thread was just "zomg zomg zomg" I think, that may be why you missed it :P
As for game-to-movie... movies.... they havent had an honest chance yet. Either the director sucks (uwe boll) or the story from the game is nonexistent (doom) or they cant get proper funding to make it how it should be.
