And this is Nova we're talking about. It's absolutely impossible for her to lose to just any Zealot just because she's a named hero, and one of the strongest Terran ones at that.
She's still human. Don't know how much the suit augments her physical power, but we're talking about 3m tall guys that weight like 200 kg, are the strongest and fastest race the Xel'Naga found, trained for maybe 50 years minimum in close combat, and have claws. Even if she can punch or kick the Zealot, would that cause significant damage?

Hardly. While Zealot can for sure break her down with one hit.
After all, Nova has powerful psionic abilities, what's the point in discussing her hand-to-hand combat abilities? =)

Have we all forgotten this is a Marine vs Zealot? No clue when the Ghost came up haha.

Answer is very simple , Zealot > Marine.

Why couldn't she cause significant damage? We have no proof either way of whether she can or can't injure a Zealot by punching or kicking him. Being big and alien doesn't automatically make you invulnerable to attacks from humans. So until we actually have cases of situations like these, we won't know for sure.

Although this is beside the point anyway, realistically we would never see a suit-less ghost fighting a suit-less Zealot. And we all already know how easily Nova can dispatch of Zealots while both are suited up.

Exactly. The answer is so simple that the thread is dead on that issue. I suppose rather than make a new thread, we might as well discuss the chances of a Terran Ghost.

if it is a ghost unarmed, with his suit
I do not think that could beat a zealot
certainly a ghost is a superhuman with his suit but I do not think it's stronger than a marine (this aglidad based on the use of their weapons and stealth), and his bones were fractured by a blow of a zealot, while the zealot will resist the blows of a ghost

Even without suits Ghosts are the strongest terrans out there.

I would assume a Ghost will have MUCH better chances of survival in an unarmed/unarmoured fight against a Zealot than a Marine. And obviously a higher chance of winning, which is still very low. For a human at peak physical condition to display such agility and reflexes as (for example) those shown by Zeratul in the StarCraft II opening cinematic would be practically impossible (even in a sci-fi fantasy universe ), of course Zeratul is pretty much the Protoss equivalent of Miyamoto Musashi so I wouldn't imagine an average Protoss warrior to be as deadly, but still quite formidable.

That is why Terran have no melee units

prodigious strength are due to the ghost suit (they have fibers that help them canalizrn their psychic energy to increase their physical powers, which the zealots do without technology), and this works wonders as he permiite make great leaps, whether they are stronger than a Terran, but I do not think they are stronger than one CMC-300 even but the ghost is more agile
